Democrat podcasters Jennifer Welch and Angie Sullivan erupted in laughter Thursday after reading a social media post about digging up Charlie Kirk’s body and “doing it again.” The laughter continued for more than 20 seconds before both hosts declared they had no comment.
The exchange occurred during the November 5 episode of I’ve Had It, titled “Drinking MAGA Tears.” Throughout the episode, the hosts read social media posts celebrating Democrat election victories and mocking conservatives.
Welch read one post aloud that stated, “We’re digging up Charlie Kirk and doing it again.” The post suggested desecrating Kirk’s body a second time, a grim message that immediately sent both hosts into prolonged laughter.
Welch and Sullivan lowered their heads as they laughed through the exchange. Their reaction continued for more than 20 seconds, after which both women said, “No comment.”
Podcasters Jennifer Welch and Angie Sullivan can't stop laughing at the thought of digging up Charlie Kirk's corpse and "doing it" again to him.
After laughing for 30 seconds straight, the women falsely claimed that Tyler Robinson was a 'MAGA person.'They will celebrate your death, laugh uncontrollably, and still be fully convinced they're the "good guys."— Collin Rugg (@CollinRugg) November 5, 2026
The pair then moved from laughter about Kirk’s body to a discussion of the political background of Tyler Robinson, the man accused of killing Kirk. Sullivan portrayed Robinson as connected to a strongly MAGA family.
“Other than he was shot by somebody that was super MAGA family,” Sullivan said. The remark focused on Robinson’s family background rather than the political details about Robinson described by authorities.
“Right,” came the response. “So do that with what you will.”
The exchange concluded with another reference to a “white MAGA family.” The hosts offered that political framing after laughing at the post about digging up Kirk and repeating the act referenced in it.
Kirk was 31 when he was shot and killed on September 10, 2025. He had been speaking at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University in Orem when the shooting occurred.
Robinson was subsequently charged with aggravated murder. Prosecutors announced that they would seek the death penalty in the case.
Robinson was registered to vote without a declared party affiliation. Both of his parents, meanwhile, were registered Republicans, which provided the basis for the hosts’ focus on his family’s political registration.
The account also included details from Robinson’s mother about his own evolving political engagement. She told police that Robinson had become more politically involved and increasingly supportive of gay and transgender rights.
Robinson’s mother also told police that he had begun dating his transgender roommate. According to her account, that relationship and Robinson’s political engagement led to disagreements with relatives, particularly his father.
Prosecutors’ account described Robinson and his father as holding different political views. That detail sat awkwardly beside the podcast hosts’ attempt to reduce the accused killer’s politics to repeated references about a MAGA family.
The episode paired celebration of Democrat election victories with open mockery of conservatives. The ugliest moment came when the hosts spent more than 20 seconds laughing over a post invoking the desecration of Kirk’s body.
Welch and Sullivan eventually said they had no comment, but only after their extended laughter had already supplied a reaction. They then pivoted to Robinson’s family registration while the account described Robinson himself as unaffiliated with a party and politically at odds with his father.
