Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., has not been seen publicly since federal agents raided her Washington, D.C., residence before dawn last week. Her daughters, however, have appeared at the property while questions continue to swirl about the congresswoman’s whereabouts.

Fox News Digital spotted Omar’s eldest daughter, Isra Hirsi, arriving Saturday night in a black sedan. Hirsi pulled into the driveway under cover of darkness, stepped out carrying a bag with both hands and walked directly through the front door.

The residence was the same home Homeland Security Investigations agents had swarmed roughly one week earlier. When Fox News Digital approached Hirsi after she left her vehicle, she responded, “What's your problem?”

Two days later, a young teenage girl believed to be Omar’s second daughter entered the residence with a woman who appeared to be her caretaker. Omar also has a son, the only immediate family member Fox News Digital has not seen arrive at the Washington home since the search.

Omar’s phone and passport were reportedly seized during the federal operation. On the same night Hirsi entered the residence, U.S. Capitol Police officers also appeared on the congresswoman’s street.

The jurisdiction of U.S. Capitol Police is generally limited to the Capitol building and grounds, but it also includes protecting members of Congress and their families. The source did not state why the officers visited the street.

Omar shares three children with Ahmed Hirsi, whom she ceremonially married in 2002 and legally married in 2018. Before that legal marriage, Omar was legally married from 2009 until 2017 to Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, who is alleged to be her brother, and she married political consultant Tim Mynett in 2020.

Mynett has emerged from the home intermittently since the raid, primarily to walk the family’s Golden Labrador Retriever, Teddy. He defended Omar to Fox News Digital and said he has “no concerns” about the investigation.

Asked about unsubstantiated rumors that Omar had left the country, Mynett lashed out at the media presence near the home. “You guys are annoying the hell out of the neighbors around here, man,” he said.

Hirsi, a 23-year-old activist and Barnard College graduate, was arrested at Columbia University and later suspended from the school in 2024. She had participated in the university’s Israel protest tent encampment, which lasted two weeks before the New York Police Department dispersed it.

Hirsi also cofounded the U.S. Climate Strike in 2019. The group organized student classroom walkouts while demanding passage of the radical left Green New Deal and a transition to 100% renewable energy.

The organization also demanded universal healthcare, student debt relief, stronger union organization, and the return of land to Native Americans. Hirsi has publicly attacked capitalism on social media as well.

Omar’s sister, Sahra Noor, missed a scheduled Minnesota book tour appearance last week because of a “family emergency,” according to the bookstore hosting the event. Three sources told Fox News Digital that Noor voluntarily spoke with federal investigators last week.

Homeland Security Investigations, the chief investigative body of the Department of Homeland Security, raided Omar’s home at about 6:00 a.m. last Monday. Sources said agents executed a search warrant connected to an immigration fraud investigation examining whether Omar or her father falsified information on her citizenship paperwork.

Border Czar Tom Homan said the allegations, if proven, could result in Omar’s denaturalization. The New York Times reported that approximately a dozen people, including Omar’s relatives, have been subpoenaed in connection with the case.

Omar has not answered repeated Fox News Digital requests for comment, but she condemned the raid on social media. “This raid by Trump’s DHS is an outrageous abuse of power and an unprecedented escalation in the weaponization of federal law enforcement to target political enemies,” she wrote on X.

Vice President JD Vance rejected the claim that the investigation was politically driven during an interview with Fox News Digital. “We really want to let the law, the facts drive this,” he said. “And if justice requires something else to be done, then, of course, we'll take a step when we have to.”
