Elizabeth Hurley has sparked engagement speculation with Billy Ray Cyrus after appearing in a recent Instagram post wearing a large diamond ring on her left hand.
Hurley, 61, and Cyrus, 65, publicly confirmed their relationship on Easter 2025 after first meeting while working on the 2022 movie Christmas in Paradise. The two have now been together for more than a year, and the latest photos have prompted questions about whether they may be preparing to take the next step.

Hurley recently posted a collection of behind-the-scenes photos from her series The 'Burbs, including one image in which she posed for a selfie while wearing a bathrobe. Her left hand was visible in the shot, prominently displaying the diamond ring.
The photo quickly fueled speculation that Cyrus had proposed.
Insiders have claimed the country singer, who has six children including Miley Cyrus, proposed to Hurley after more than a year of dating.
One source reacted to the ring by saying, 'She’s filming The ‘Burbs; I hardly think this ring is a prop.'

Cyrus appeared to add to the speculation with an Instagram post of his own Thursday that included a ring emoji.
The post showed Cyrus in profile wearing aviator sunglasses and a dark gray leather-and-denim jacket over a charcoal shirt. He began by promoting the Party’s in the Back remix he recorded with country-rock trio DELTONA, which was released October 2.
'This is the most fertile solid ground I have stood on in a long time,' Cyrus wrote.
He continued by celebrating the response to the song and previewing additional musical projects.
'Party’s in The Back with DELTONA went over a half million views in a few days. It's fun. Speaking of … wait until you hear them on I Want My Mullet Back 20 year anniversary special. They also join me on a John Prine tribute track of the classic and still relevant to a whole new generation…. "Storm Windows".
'I like seeing people's dreams come true. I'm so excited for the show this weekend teaming up with NASCAR in Phoenix!!! Kinda has a ring to it,' he concluded cryptically alongside the eye-catching emoji.
Neither Hurley nor Cyrus directly confirmed an engagement in the material provided.
Hurley has been married once before. She wed Arun Nayar in 2007, and the couple separated in 2010 before divorcing the following year.
Before that marriage, Hurley famously dated British actor Hugh Grant for 13 years. Their relationship ended in 2000.
Hurley also has a 24-year-old son, Damian, with the late businessman Steve Bing.
Cyrus has been married three times. He was married to Cindy Smith from 1986 until 1991. He later married Tish Cyrus in 1993, with that marriage lasting until 2023. He then married Firerose, but that marriage lasted approximately seven months.
Since going public with their romance in April 2025, Hurley and Cyrus have described a relationship centered largely around a quiet life away from cities.
The couple split their time between Hurley’s farm in Herefordshire, England, and Cyrus’ farm in Tennessee.
Hurley has acknowledged that the pairing may seem unexpected to some people but said their lifestyles have more in common than outsiders might assume.
Speaking on the SheerLuxe podcast, she joked, 'There are a lot more similarities than you'd think. We have the same hair. Identical hair. Apart from his beard, we're actually like twins.'
Hurley also joked that Cyrus looks as though he could be the father of her son Damian. She said a recent photograph featuring herself, Cyrus, Damian and her brother Michael made them all look like 'cousins.'
She described the relationship as an 'unlikely pairing in some ways' while also explaining why she believes their lives fit together naturally.
'We've both lived out of suitcases our entire life,' she explained. 'And we both also a long time ago moved out of the cities. He's got a farm in Tennessee, I've got one here in Herefordshire, and neither of us really go out much unless we have to 'cause it's work. So there are a lot more similarities than you'd think.'
Hurley also said there are noticeable differences between them, particularly when it comes to organization and food.
'He sort of bumbles around. He's a bit more bumbly than me,' she said.
She added that Cyrus does not cook and sometimes has little food available at home.
'He can't cook, and he doesn't eat properly, and there's never any food in his house. When I arrive, I'm like, "What have you been eating?" "Oh, nothing." Sweets or popcorn or something. So there are differences. But because we both like sort of snuggling up, we're actually quite similar.'
For now, the diamond ring and Cyrus’ own use of a ring emoji have kept engagement speculation alive, even as the couple has yet to directly announce whether wedding plans are underway.
