Candace Cameron Bure is celebrating an emotional new chapter for her growing family. The 50 year old “Full House” alum officially became a grandmother after her son Lev Bure and his wife, Elliott Bure, welcomed their first child.

The couple’s baby boy, Bond Leo, arrived 10 weeks early and weighed exactly 3 lbs. Elliott announced his birth Sunday on Instagram while sharing photos of the newborn with her followers.

“Welcome baby boy,” Elliott wrote alongside the images. She then revealed that Bond required immediate hospital care following his early arrival.

“Bond was born 10 weeks early at exactly 3 lbs and was transferred immediately to the NICU,” Elliott shared. Her post detailed an emotional hospital journey that lasted more than five weeks before the family could finally leave together.

“Through lots of tears, countless prayers, and what felt like endless hours in the hospital, 5 weeks and 5 days later we finally brought our miracle boy home.” Elliott also expressed her gratitude to the medical workers who cared for Bond.

She thanked the hospital staff “who took the most incredible care” of the couple’s son. Her announcement focused on Bond’s early birth, his time in the NICU and the long awaited moment when he was able to go home.

Cameron Bure marked the milestone by reposting Elliott’s announcement to her Instagram Stories. She also filled the comments with an emotional message celebrating her grandson and praising Lev and Elliott.

“Bond Leo is a miracle baby ❤️ Our hearts could not be more full of love,” the “Fuller House” alum wrote. Her reaction made clear how thrilled she was to welcome the newest member of the family.

“You and Lev are the most amazing parents – and we are here for every minute of it ❤️ We love you all sooooooo much ,” Cameron Bure continued. The message celebrated the new parents after Bond’s extended hospital stay.

Lev, 26, announced in late May that he and Elliott were expecting a child. That announcement came just weeks after his older sister, Natasha, revealed that she was also pregnant.

Lev and Elliott have been married since 2024. Their first child’s arrival officially launched the grandmother chapter that Cameron Bure had already been eagerly anticipating.

The actress previously celebrated the prospect of becoming a grandmother twice over. She joked that her “CandyGram” era was in “full effect” as both Lev and Natasha prepared to welcome children.

“Are you KIDDING?!! Another grandbaby on the way !!!!! Does life get any better?!!!” Cameron Bure wrote at the time. Her message conveyed her excitement over another addition to the family.

“CandyGram x2 = fully ignited . Congratulations Lev and @elliottpbure , we are still pinching ourselves!! ” she added. The announcement followed her earlier reaction to Natasha’s pregnancy news.

When Natasha, 28, shared her pregnancy through maternity photos on Instagram, her mother reposted one of the images. “I’m gonna be a Candy Gram!!!!!! ❤️” Cameron Bure wrote.

She later posted footage capturing the moment she and her husband, Valeri Bure, learned that Natasha was expecting. In the video, Cameron Bure screamed, “What? Wait, you’re kidding. Are you kidding?”

Natasha later explained that her parents had been shocked and excited by the announcement. She continued documenting her pregnancy journey ahead of her child’s arrival.

Natasha revealed in a May Instagram caption that she and the “Good Luck Charlie” alum conceived on the “first try.” Natasha and the actor have been married since their September 2025 wedding in Malibu, California, and she has been with Perry since 2024.

Cameron Bure and Valeri married in June 1996. In addition to Lev and Natasha, they are also the parents of 24 year old son Maksim Bure, while Bond Leo is now the newest member of their expanding family.
