Sophie Cunningham has decided the WNBA could use more spice, and her latest TikTok supplied it with impeccable timing, as reported by Red State.
The Indiana Fever guard aimed a playful jab at Las Vegas Aces superstar A'ja Wilson after Wilson's heated exchange with an Indiana fan.
The video appeared Wednesday, one day after the confrontation during Game 2 of the teams' first-round playoff series.
Cunningham centered the entire joke on the simple gesture that fueled the arena drama: pointing.

The exchange began after Cunningham was called for a foul on Wilson with the Fever leading 90 to 79 and just over four minutes remaining.
Replays showed a fan standing and pointing toward Wilson while Cunningham protested the call.
Video showed the man near the baseline apparently telling Wilson, "That's on you."
Wilson responded by walking toward the fan and entering the row of seats behind the basket as the two exchanged words.
Here’s a fan clip of the incident.
All the fan said was “That’s on you” and pointed at Aja Wilson. She is soft as Charmin man. The fan didn’t charge her, he simply pointed and said that foul was on her. pic.twitter.com/DpgsFnY0oT — HeHateMe (@_HeHateMee_) September 30, 2026
Another camera angle showed the fan taking a couple of small steps toward Wilson while pointing before she approached him.

Teammates eventually pulled Wilson back, and officials assessed the four time MVP a technical foul for unsportsmanlike behavior.
Arena security spoke with the fan and witnesses before determining that he had not violated the rules.
"Following a report of a comment directed toward a player, arena security spoke with the fan involved and witnesses.
Security determined there was no violation of the Fan Code of Conduct; the fan was not removed from the arena. We consider the matter closed," the team said.
Cunningham turned the combustible moment into a perfectly timed bit from a couch.
"Not trying to be dramatic at all, like seriously," Cunningham said while lounging with her morning coffee.
She then delivered the punchline with a straight face.
"I was just here having my morning coffee, and what a damn comeback year for the 'point.' Who would have ever thought? Just who would have ever thought?"
The joke mocked the controversy without directly recounting the confrontation.

It also called back to Cunningham's own viral pointing moment earlier in the season during an on court encounter with DeWanna Bonner, who was playing for the Phoenix Mercury at the time.
Cunningham's willingness to mix things up has become a prominent part of her public persona.
She has been flamboyant in her defiance of critics, and the pointed TikTok was another example of her appetite for attracting attention.
The Fever guard previously defended actress Sydney Sweeney after criticism of Sweeney's revealing advertisement for the sports prediction platform Novig.
The article portrayed Cunningham's response as another example of her brushing aside online outrage.
In the advertisement, Sweeney appeared nearly nude and challenged viewers with two brief lines. “Think you know sports?” she asks. “Prove it.”
Critics accused the campaign of sexualizing women in sports, although the advertisement did not claim that Sweeney represented female athletes.
Cunningham dismissed the complaints and focused on the advertisement's obvious effort to capture attention.
"Why are girls mad?" Cunningham asked.
"That is literally what she does. Why is anyone mad? It is a gambling ad: men, sports, naked women. Of course, that’s going to draw attention."
Her Wilson jab arrived at an especially provocative point in the playoff series. Indiana and Las Vegas were tied 1 to 1 in their best-of-three first-round matchup, setting up a winner-take-all Game 3.
That deciding game was scheduled for Thursday at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas.
Wilson and the Aces therefore had an immediate opportunity to answer Cunningham's social media trolling on the court.
An Indiana victory would give Cunningham another reason to celebrate the joke.
A Las Vegas win, however, could leave her wishing she had kept that pointing finger tucked away.
Either outcome gives the WNBA more personality and tension around its playoff product.
Cunningham's cheeky performance transformed one heated courtside exchange into fresh fuel for the decisive game.
